Since the gifts ( miracle performance, supernatural phenomenon) and callings  of God are irrevocable, those who don't persist in character of pure Trueness can yet perform in the supernatural  (false miracles and supernatural phenomenon that don't inculcate, lead nor steady virtues of Righteousness; any Phenomenon manifesed in Natural realms is yet in Arena of physical which can be subject to deception, illusion, manipulation, & thus Knowing the Character of Truth is assured method towards Spiritual purity { that does not abuse, distort, harm ,and is  eternally true });

Thus Knowledge is only Method to stay safe from being deceived .
